මේවන විට  දකුණු අන්දමන් දූපත් ආසන්නයේ අඩු පීඩන කලාපයක් වර්ධනය වී ඇති අතර එය දිවයිනට කි.මි 1700 පමණ නැයෙනහිර දෙසින් ගිණියකොන දිග බෙංගාල බොක්ක මුහුදු ප්‍රදේශයේ පවතී.  එම අඩු පීඩන කලාපය ඉදිරි දිනවලදී වර්ධනය වෙමින් මධ්‍යම බෙංගාල බොක්ක මුහුදු ප්‍රදේශය හරහා ඉන්දියානු ගොඩබිමට ඇතුලුවනු ඇතැයි අපේක්ෂා කරන අතර එය දෙසැම්බර් 5 සහ 6 වන දා වනවිට ශ්‍රී ලංකාවට නැගෙනහිර දෙසින් දිවයිනට තරමක් ආසන්නයෙන් ගමන් කරනු ඇතැයි ද කාලගුණ විද්‍යා දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව විශේෂ නිවේදනයක් නිකුත් කරමින් දැනුම්දෙයි.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A low pressure area has been developed near the South Andaman Islands in the vicinity of the Bay of Bengal in the east of the island, about 1700 km east of the island. The Department of Meteorology says that the low pressure area will be expected to enter the Indian mainland via the sea in the Bay of Bengal.
