ජාත්‍යන්තර ත්‍රස්තවාදයට එරෙහිව ක්‍රියාත්මක වීමට හා සංවිධානාත්මක අපරාධ මැඩලීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් එකඟතා ගිවිසුමකට ඉන්දියාව හා ඔස්ට්‍රේලියාව පසුගිය දා පළමු වතාවට අත්සන්කර ඇත.
මෙම ඒකාබද්ධ මෙහෙයුම් කමිටු රැස්වීමේදී දෙපාර්ශවයම ත්‍රස්තවාදය මැඩලීම සඳහා ඇති ඉඩකඩ සහ අන්තවාදීත්වය හා රැඩිකලීකරනය පරීක්ෂා කිරීම, නීතිවිරෝධී මූල්‍ය ගනුදෙනු, ව්‍යාජ ලිපිගොනු සහ සයිබර් අපරාධ සිදු කිරීම පරීක්ෂා කිරීම සඳහා වන වැඩපිළිවෙළ ගැන සාකච්ඡා කළහ. මිනිස් ජාවාරම හා මිනිස් ජාවාරම සම්බන්ධ නීති ගැටළු, නීති විරෝධී මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය ජාවාරම මර්දනය කිරීම සහ නීතිය ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීමේ ආයතන අතර තොරතුරු හුවමාරුව ද මෙම ගිවිසුම යටතේ සිදු කර ගැනෙන කරුණු අතර ප්‍රධාන වන බව සඳහන් වේ.
පසුගිය අප්‍රියෙල් මාසයේදී සිදුවූ ඕස්ට්‍රේලියා අගමැති මැල්කම් ටර්න්බුල්ගේ නව දිල්ලි සංචාරය අතරතුර ඉන්දීය අගමැති නරේන්ද්‍ර මෝදී සමඟ පැවති සාකච්ඡාවලදී අන්තර්ජාතික ත්‍රස්තවාදය හා අන්තර් ජාතික සංවිධානාත්මක අපරාධ මැඩලීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් පියවර ගනු පිණිස දෙරටේ සහයෝගීතාව ඇති කර ගැනීම පිළිබඳ අදහස් හුවමාරුව පළමුව සිදු විය. අනතුරුව සිදු කෙරුණු අදාළ ආයතන සම්බන්ධ ඒකාබද්ධ ක්‍රියාකාරී කණ්ඩායම්වල රැස්වීම් සමඟ විශේෂිත ක්ෂේත්‍ර සහයෝගීතාව සඳහා වන න්‍යාය පත්‍රය තවදුරටත් ඉදිරියට ගෙන යාමට දෙපාර්ශවය එකඟ වී ඇත.
ඉන්දීය ස්වදේශ කටයුතු අමාත්‍යංශයේ අතිරේක ලේකම් එස්. එම්. එස්. එන්. ප්‍රසාද්, ජාත්‍යන්තර පොලිසියේ සහකාර පොලිස් අධිකාරී ස්ටෙෆන් බුවුහයිස්, ඉන්දීය අපරාධ යුක්ති විනිශ්චය කණ්ඩායමේ නීතිඥ කණ්ඩායම හා ඉන්දීය නීතිපති දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව මෙම අවස්ථාවට නායකත්වය දී ඇත.
India and Australia have signed an agreement on combating organized crime and internationally for the first time in a bid to curb international terrorism with Australia.
At the joint steering committee meeting, the two sides discussed the possibility of combating terrorism, the testing of extremism and radicalization, the program for the investigation of illegal financial transactions, forensic files and cybercrimes. Human trafficking and human trafficking, drug trafficking and law enforcement agencies are among the key issues under this agreement.
