මේ වසරේ මුල් මාස 9ට ලංකා විදුලිබල මණ්ඩලයේ පාඩුව රුපියල් මිලියන 72000 ඉක්මවන බව වාර්තා පෙන්වා දෙන බව සදහන්වේ.
වාර්තා පෙන්වා දෙන්නේ මණ්ඩලයේ ආදායමට වඩා වියදම රුපියල් මිලියන 63000 කින් වැඩිබවය. මේ වන විට විදුලිබල මණ්ඩලය ණය ගෙවීමට පමණක් රුපියල් මිලියන 32000 ක් වැය කරන තත්වයක් මත අමතර විදුලිය මිලදී ගැනීම සදහා තවත් රුපියල් මිලියන 18000 ක ණයක් ලබා ගැනීමට කැබිනට් මණ්ඩල අනුමැතිය ලැබුනු බව සදහන්ය.
මේ සම්බන්ධයෙන් අදහස් දක්වන ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ ප්‍රවීණයින් පවසන්නේ නිශ්චිත ප්‍රතිපත්තියක් නොමැතිවීම මෙම විදුලි අර්බුදයට හේතුව බවයි. තවද සූර්ය බලශක්ති ව්‍යාපෘති නිසි අයුරින් ක්‍රියාත්මක නොකර වැඩිමිලට පුද්ගලික අංශයෙන් විදුලිය මිලදී ගැනීමට කටයුතු කිරිම නිසා මෙම තත්වය බරපතල වන බවද ඔවුන් පෙන්වා දෙන බව සදහන්ය.
කෙසේ වෙතත් මේ වන විට විදුලිබල මණ්ඩලය දැවැන්ත මූල්‍ය අරබුදයකට මුහුණපා ඇති බව සදහන්වේ.
