යාපනයේ ක්‍රියාත්මක ආවා නැමැති පාතාල කල්ලියේ නායකයා ඇතුළු සාමාජිකයින් 05 දෙනෙකු පසුගිය මාස 04 තුළදී අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන අධිකරණ ක්‍රියාමාර්ග සඳහා යොමු කර ඇත. ආවා කල්ලියේ ප්‍රබල සමාජිකයින් 04 දෙනෙකු පසුගිය 19 සහ 21 දෙදින තුළදී අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීමට පොලිස් විශේෂ කාර්ය බලකාය සමත් වූ අතර පසුගිය අගෝස්තු 05 වැනිදා ආවා කල්ලියේ නායකයා අත්අඩංගුවට ගනු ලැබීය.
අදාළ පුද්ගලයින් සමඟ ත්‍රීරෝද රථයක් , මෝටර් බයිසිකල් 02 ක් , ජංගම දුරකතන 02 ක්, කඩු දෙකක් සහ කිනිසි 02 ක් අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන ඇත.
නීතිය හා සාමය මහ දක්ෂිණ සංවර්ධන අමාත්‍ය සාගල රත්නායකගේ උපදෙස් පරිදි මේවන විට “ආවා” කල්ලිය මර්ධනය කිරීම සඳහා විශේෂ වැඩපිළිවෙලක් ක්‍රියාත්මක කර ඇති අතර අමාත්‍යවරයා පසුගිය දා ප්‍රකාශ කර සිටියේ ආවා කල්ලිය මර්ධනය කිරීම සඳහා ගත හැකි උපරිම ක්‍රියාමාර්ග ගන්නා බවයි.
