රටේ පවතින දේශපාලන තත්වය පිලිබද සහ ප්‍රධාන කරුණු තුනක් මුල්කර ගනිමින් ඒකාබද්ධ විපක්ෂය නියෝජනය කරන පක්ෂ නායකයින් සමග විශේෂ සාකච්ඡාවක් පැවැත්වීමට හිටපු ජනාධිපති මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ තීරණය කර ඇතැයි වාර්තාවේ.
මෙම සාකච්ඡාව 17 වන අගහරුවාදා කොළඹ 7 විජේරාම මාවතේ පිහිටි ඔහුගේ නිල නිවසේදී පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතය. මෙහිදි ලබන ජනවාරි මාසයේදි පැවැත්වීමට නියමිත පලාත් පාළන මැතිවරණය සදහා ඒකාබද්ධ විපක්ෂය හා ශ්‍රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණ ඇතුලුව පිහිටුවීමට නියමිත සන්ධානය පිලිබදවත් පලාත් පාළන නාමයෝජනා පිලිබදවත්, ආණ්ඩුව මේ මොහොතේ සිදු කරමින් සිටින ප්‍රජාත්‍රන්ත්‍ර විරෝධි ක්‍රියාවන් පිලිබදවත් සාකච්ඡා කිරිමට නියමිත බව සදහන්ය.

The discussion will be held at his official residence at Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo on the 17th. It is reported that the government will hold discussions on the anti-democratic activities that are taking place at the moment, regarding the UPFA, which is to be formed in the provincial council elections in January, the joint opposition and the SLFP.
