බස්නාහිර, සබරගමුව, මධ්‍යම හා වයඹ පළාත්වලත් ගාල්ල සහ මාතර දිස්ත්‍රික්කවලත් විටින් විට වැසි හෝ ගිගුරුම් සහිත වැසි බලාපොරොත්තු වන බවත්, සමහර ස්ථානවලට තද වැසි (මි.මී. 100 වැඩි) ඇතිවිය හැකි බවත් කාලගුණ විද්‍යා දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව වැඩිදුරටත් ප්‍රකාශ කර ඇත.

There will be showers or thundershowers at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North Western Provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts and in some places heavy rain (more than 100 mm) will occur, the Met Department said.
Also, several spells of showers will occur in the Northern, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in other areas around 2.00 pm.
