විමල්, ගම්මන්පිල ඒකාබද්ධයෙන් ඉවත් කෙරේ?
ඉදිරියේදී පැවැත්වීමට නියමිත මැතිවරණවලදී විමල් වීරවංශගේ ජාතික නිදහස් පෙරමුණ සහ උදය ගම්මන්පිලගේ පිවිතුරු හෙළ උරුමය සමඟ කටයුතු නොකළ යුතු යැයි ශ්‍රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණේ සමහර නායකයන් දරන මතයක් නිසා ඒකාබද්ධ විපක්‍ෂය ඇතුලත අර්බුදයක් මතුව ඇතැයි සඳහන් වේ.ශ්‍රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණ ජාතිවාදී නොවිය යුතු බවත්, ඒ නිසාම ජාතිවාදයට වැඩිපුර කරතබා කටයුතු කරන ඉහත පක්‍ෂ දෙක ශ්‍රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණ තුළින් ඉවත් කර ඒකාබද්ධ විපක්‍ෂය මත වැටී ඇති කළු පැල්ලම ඉවත් කර ගත යුතු බවත් පොදුජන පෙරමුණේ ඉහල නායකත්වයේ අදහස බව පක්‍ෂ ක්‍රියාකාරියෙක් පැවසූ බව සඳහන් වේ.
