එක් ඉන්ධන නැවක් ප්‍රතික්ෂේප වීම හේතුවෙන් මෙතරම් බරබතල තත්වයක් නිර්මාණයවීය නොහැකි අතර එය ආණ්ඩුව නිසි කලමණාකරනයකින් යුතුව තෙල් සංචිතයක් නඩත්තු නොකිරීමමේ ප්‍රතිපඵයක් බවත් ආණ්ඩුවට ප්‍රමාණවත් ගබඩා පහසුකම් නැති වීම මෙයට ප්‍රධාන හේතුව බවත්ය. ත්‍රීකුණාමලයේ තෙල් ටැංකි වලින් 10 ක් ලබා ගැනීම සදහා ලැබුනු කැබිනට් අනුමැතිය මේ රටේ අගමැතිවරායා විසින් අවලංගු කල බවත්, ඒ තමන් එම තෙල් ටැංකි ඉන්දියාවට දීමට පොරෝනදු වී ඇති නිසා ඉන්දියාව සමග හවුල් ගිවිසුමකට යා යුතු බව පවසමින් බවත් එම් සංගමයේ කැදවුම්කරු වැඩිදුරටත් සදහන් කළේය.
