පළාත් පාලන සහ පළාත් සභා කටයුතු පිළිබඳ අමාත්‍ය ෆයිසර් මුස්තාෆාට එරෙහිව ඒකාබද්ධ විපක්ෂය ඉදිරිපත් කළ විශ්වාසභංග යෝජනාවට එක්සත් ජාතික පක්‍ෂයේ පසුපෙළ මන්ත්‍රීවරුන්ගේ හා ජනතා විමුක්ති පෙරමුණේද සහය ලබා දෙන බව එම කණ්ඩායම් දෙකෙහි සාමාජිකයෝ පවසා ඇත.

ෆයිසර් මුස්තාෆා අමාත්‍යවරයා මැතිවරණය කල් යෑම පිළිබඳව වගකිව යුතු බවත් යහපාලන ආණ්ඩුවේ මෙතෙක් සම්ප්‍රදායට අනුව අසාර්ථක ඇමතිවරුන් ඉල්ලා අස්විය යුතු බවත් එසේ ඔහු ඉල්ලා අස් නොවී විශ්වාසභංගය පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට ඉදිරිපත් වන තුරු සිටියහොත් තම කණ්ඩායම විශ්වාසභංගයට සහයෝගය ලබාදෙන බව, එජාප පසුපෙළ මන්ත්‍රීවරුන් දෙදෙනෙකු පවසා ඇත. එසේම ජවිපෙ පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී විජිත හේරත් ප්‍රකාශ කර ඇත්තේද ඒකාබද්ධ විපක්‍ෂයේ විශ්වාසභංගය පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ විවාදයට ගතහොත් එයට පක්ෂව ඡන්දය ලබාදෙන බවය.

Members of the two groups have said that support would be given to the UNP backbenchers and the JVP for the no-confidence motion presented by the joint opposition against Minister Faizer Musthapha against the local government and provincial council affairs.
